2013 FAB Waterford Women in Business Awards

Today we attended the annual FAB Waterford Women in Business Awards in Dooley’s Hotel, Waterford . We are delighted and thrilled to be nominated as a finalist in the Best New Business Enterprise.

It is great to be recognised in this way. We love what we do at Wigworld, whether it is wigs for cancer patients or hairpieces for thinning hair or giving advice and support.

Out of a shortlist of 27 businesses nine business-women in the city were honoured today at the prestigious ceremony which was opened by the Mayor of Waterford, Cllr Jim D’Arcy, hosted by former MTV and RTE presenter Emma Ledden and sponsored by Waterford City Enterprise Board, commenting on the awards, Lynda Lawton, Chairperson of FAB Waterford said: “I’m delighted to see such a high standard of entries this year, the best we’ve ever had. It was a tough decision for the judges. All the category winners and finalists are all very deserving of their awards and we hope they bring them continued success for many years to come.”
