We provide a full service from consultation, fitting, styling, aftercare and maintenance, pre and post hair loss. We offer a selection of wigs and hairpieces in ready to wear or custom made in synthetic and human hair in a wide range of colours and up to the minute styles and trends. We will provide you with all the information you need to make a decision on style, hair type, colour and cape construction. Our aim is to make your hair loss experience as easy as possible. We also offer a service whereby our clients can come back to us and have their wig washed and styled.
Wigworld is owned and run by Joyce O’ Carroll , she is a qualified hairdresser and certified wig technician . She has also successfully completed FECTAC level 5 Healthcare Support. From her own personal experience of hair loss she offers this very unique service. Joyce has a wealth of knowledge, skills and understanding and travels regularly for training to see what’s new in the industry and what will benefit her clients. She is the voluntary Wig & Hair advisor at the Look Good Feel Better programme which is run by the Irish Cancer society in WRH. She has also been invited to be guest speaker in Co Waterford VEC, Waterford Careers Association and various community groups, which she truly enjoys doing.
